Azulene-based dye molecules such as 3-(7-isopropyl-1,4-dimethylazulen-3-yl)-2-cyanoacrylic acid and 5-(7-isopropyl-1,4-dimethylazulen-3-yl)-2-cyanopenta-2,4-dienoic acid.
